People often ask me -

How do I give you my money in a way that doesn't seem like I own you or that you owe me anything in return? I love your merchandise and I follow your video channel, but I have all this money and would rather you had it, so that you can quit your drudgery and mail coconuts full time on some tropical island and not worry about stuff like shoveling or credit card bills.

Until today my only response was - 

You can go to the ATM and withdraw money and give that to me, but that's a lot of work and you might live 100 miles away and it would be weird to have you drop by the house just to hand off some cash. I know it's frustrating for you when you want so badly to give up your hard earned paper security, but there simply isn't the technology to wirelessly transmit funds from one account to another. It just can't be done.

One day someone was paying for a sticker with VENMO and a light went on.

Later, when I turned that light off, there was a note next to it that said 

"let people give you $ for nothing on venmo"

then a light went on, but metaphorically in my head...I could let people give me money for nothing using a common payment service, like Venmo!
