NPR just said the words

 "Our nation's capital is under attack by armed violent Trump extremists"

I have no idea if this will just blow away tomorrow, but for today it is no joke.

I'm supposed to have a form design call with a client tomorrow. I just canceled.

I can't focus on form design when I'm wondering if we still have a democracy.

How could anyone focus on anything at all when our literal Country is under attack?

It'd be like asking the Pearl Harbor dentist how many teeth he got filled that day.

I realize this insurrection might be resolved tonight or tomorrow, but until I can feel a tiny bit safe, I'm not going to be able to do the normal 40 and pretend the outside world doesn't exist.  I'll take PTO for the time I'm watching the collapse.
