We are interactors not simply consumers, when we look we also see and we have tools to seek like auricular muscles. 

There's an episode of Seinfeld, where George uses his squint to see extra well. I think this is the equivalent of that squint to the ears.  

I would like to be tested to see if I can hear better while I'm activating my auricular muscles which I can do and 90% of the world cannot do because they don't have control of that muscle.  I know I have control of that muscle because I can wiggle my ears.
